We’re sorry to hear you’ve been in an accident. Yes our chiropractor’s treat and bill direct for WorkSafe BC claims.

Currently none of our massage therapists bill direct to WorkSafe BC. You are still able to receive treatment, however you will need to pay for your appointment yourself and submit your receipts to WorkSafe BC for reimbursement.
For your initial appointment, you will be asked to fill out a confidential health history form before your appointment. We can either email this to you or you can come 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill it out in the office.

Please bring your Personal Health Number. If you have a benefit plan, please bring the information in with you if you would like us to bill it on your behalf. If it is a current Worksafe BC or ICBC claim, please bring in your claim number with you.
No referral is necessary for chiropractic treatment.

For massage therapy, we do not require a medical doctor’s referral to treat you, however your benefit plan may need one in order to cover your visits.

It’s best to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. For massage therapy, most therapists will ask you to undress to your comfort level, and you will be draped with sheets to maintain your privacy during the massage.

The number of visits it takes to get better depends on several factors:
  1. Type and Severity of the Condition - Acute issues (like recent back or neck pain): Often improve within 4 to 12 sessions over a few weeks- Chronic Conditions (like long-standing pain, scoliosis, or arthritis): May require ongoing care for several months or even maintenance treatments indefinitely- Injury rehabilitation (ex: from car accidents): Could involve 12 to 24+ visits depending on severity
  2. Treatment Goals: - Pain relief only: Might need fewer sessions (ex: 3-6) - Corrective Care (improving posture, spinal alignment): Often takes weeks to months- Maintenance / Prevention: Typically 1-2 visits per month after initial improvement
  3. Patient Factors: - Age, activity level, and general health: Younger or more active individuals may recover faster- Adherence to home care (exercises, posture correction): Improves outcomes and may reduce treatment frequency
Bottom Line: Most people feel some improvement within 4 to 6 sessions. Full recovery or long-term results may take 6 to 12 weeks or longer, depending on your situation.
